Use your expertise to inspire and inform

As a professional presenter, you will deliver presentations about your area of expertise and answer questions from your audience. You therefore need to be knowledgeable, experienced and engaging.

 

What you’ll do

  • Deliver pre-prepared presentations, adding your own knowledge and experience of working with deaf children and their families.
  • Answer questions using your professional expertise or signpost where appropriate.
  • Adapt your presentation delivery and facilitation styles to meet the needs of audiences and the type of event.
  • Create an open and supportive environment where audiences feel comfortable sharing their experiences.
  • Be responsible for the quality of your volunteering and for yourself as part of a team.
  • Follow policies relevant to your role.
